Effective April 1, 2019, the rate of tax imposed on the recording of mortgages on real property located in Essex, Greene, and Warren Counties for each $100.00 secured by the mortgage is $1.25 (1 ¼%).
Effective May 1, 2019, the rate of tax imposed on the recording of mortgages on real property located in Cattaraugus County for each $100.00 secured by the mortgage is $1.25 (1 ¼%).
